Privacy Policy

Chrono Bot is the Discord bot and staff dashboard at chronobot.cloud. It only runs on the official Chrono Odyssey Discord. You cannot invite it to other servers.

This page is about what Chrono Bot stores. It is not about Discord, the game company, or other sites linked in the server.

Depending on how you use the server, we may keep:

Account info

User ID, username, avatar when staff tools need it

Joins & leaves

When someone joins or leaves

Mod cases

Warns, mutes, kicks, bans, reports, appeals, staff notes

Blacklist / roles

Role state used for enforcement

Support

Tickets, suggestions, DMs sent to the bot

Staff login

Discord login for mods using the dashboard

Message content is covered next. We do not save every message in the server.

Chrono Bot needs Discord Message Content access to read normal server messages for moderation. Without that, link filters and delete logs break.

We use message text when:

• Someone posts a blocked link in a restricted channel
• Staff need a delete or edit log (we cache content briefly so the log can show what was removed)
• A spam-trap channel triggers and we keep the message as evidence
• A message is reported or added to a mod case
• You are in a ticket or DM support thread with staff
• A mod runs a staff-only channel scan or export

We do not use messages for ads or to build any public dataset.

Server Members access lets Chrono Bot see join and leave events. That is how we log new members, put blacklist roles back if someone rejoins, and catch suspicious join waves or raids.

We do not track who is online. We do not scrape the member list for marketing.

Only to run the official server:

• Moderation and abuse handling
• Raid, spam, and scam protection
• Staff audit logs
• Tickets, reports, appeals, DM support
• Mod dashboard access
• Keeping the bot running

Mod and support data is stored off Discord in our own database and hosting. Data can also go through Discord (events, login, messages), our host, and media storage for attachments.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising.

Short caches (like recent messages for delete logs) do not stay long. Mod history such as warns, bans, blacklist entries, reports, spam-trap evidence, tickets, and DM threads can stay longer because staff need that record.

When we no longer need something, we delete or strip it when we can.

You cannot opt out of mod logging while using moderated channels. Those tools are part of how the server is run. Staff choose which Chrono Bot logs and filters are enabled.

If you want a copy of your data, a correction, or a deletion, contact staff on the official Chrono Odyssey Discord (tickets or whatever support channel they use).

We may refuse if the data is still needed for an open case, security, or legal reasons. Leaving the server stops new processing from you there, but old mod records are not wiped automatically.

Chrono Bot is for people allowed to use Discord under Discord rules. If you think we stored a child's data by mistake, tell staff.
